On May 16th 2009, the newly formed "Girl Band" gave its 1st live performance at the Walpole day. Before an enthusisatic crowd, the band interpreted "Every Breath You Take" by Police and "Dirty Little Secrets" by the All-American Rejects.
The "Girl Band" is an initiative of John Desmond and Angie Shyr is the musical director.
